Green Energy New Trend! Powernice and Seg Science Park Join Hands to Create a Distributed Photovoltaic Blueprint in the Greater Bay Area!

2024-01-09

Recently, the rooftop distributed fixed + tracking project jointly created by Powernice and Seg Science Park has successfully connected to the grid. On the roof of Seg Science Park, a distributed photovoltaic power station with a designed total capacity of about 1.2MW has emerged, injecting new green energy into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Innovative projects contribute new energy to new energy

The rooftop distributed fixed + tracking photovoltaic power station project at Seg Science Park has a designed total capacity of about 1.2MW, with a distributed tracking part of about 23KW. The design life exceeds 25 years, and the average annual electricity generation is about 1.1 million kWh, with a total generation of up to 27.5 million kWh over 25 years.

This innovative project will increase the proportion of renewable energy consumption in the park to about 16%, contributing a new energy to green development.

Reduce electricity costs and build an intelligent green park

In addition to bringing more green and clean energy to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, this project has played a positive role in reducing the daily electricity consumption of the park's public areas.

The grid-connected operation of the project has effectively reduced the park's reliance on the traditional power grid, creating favorable conditions for reducing electricity costs and contributing substantial strength to the park's energy system.

Intelligent monitoring system enhances efficient operation

To better manage project electricity generation, Powernice has built an intelligent monitoring system around the power station. The intelligent monitoring system can real-time monitor the operating status of the power station equipment, fault alarms, remote diagnosis, and electricity generation, completing real-time digitized supervision.

This intelligent initiative not only reduces the frequency of manual inspections, improves the efficiency of power station operation, but also provides a more intelligent and efficient solution for the utilization of renewable energy.

Five-year carbon peak goal leads green development

Seg Science Park has set a five-year target for carbon peak, planning to fully meet the requirements of Shenzhen's nearly zero carbon emission pilot park before 2026. The park actively invests in implementing various green development plans, with the goal of reducing the park's overall carbon emissions by 54.4%, leading the future of green development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Powernice and Seg Science Park have outlined a new development blueprint for photovoltaic projects in the Greater Bay Area. This new trend of green energy will inspire more enterprises and parks to join the ranks of sustainable development, contributing more green energy to our common home. Looking forward to the future, green energy will unfold a more beautiful chapter in the Greater Bay Area!
